The Nuclear Medicine Department
The Nuclear Medicine staff at LMH look forward to meeting you and contributing to your clinical development as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
The Nuclear Medicine Department is located directly adjacent to Medical Imaging (Radiology) on the ground floor.
Within our department, you will find 2 cameras (Siemens Symbia T16 and GE Discovery 670), and also get the opportunity to practice lab skills in our Laboratory.
Post processing is done with Siemens Xcelerious.
There is also a dedicated room for Cardiac Stress Tests and a Bone Mineral Density camera.
Hours of service
Nuclear Medicine clinical hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
On call services are available for inpatient work, however students are not required to participate in the on call roster.
Your placement hours will be 8.45am-5.00pm. On your first day of placement please arrive ready to start the working day by 8.45am.

Students are welcomed to our department, you will learn a lot over your time with us.
Your Clinical Supervisor is Ms Elyse Connole.
Please arrive at 08:45am, and bring your Passport to Placement.
