A list of emergency codes is attached to each telephone. The hospital switchboard emergency phone number is 33#  in all SAhealth Hospitals.

Please familiarise yourself with the Emergency Trolley location in your department on your first day of clinical placement.

The Emergency codes are as follows:

               Code RED = Fire/Smoke

Code BLUE = Medical Emergency

Code PURPLE = Bomb Threat/suspicious package

Code YELLOW = Internal Emergency

Code BLACK = Aggression Emergency

Code BROWN = External Emergency

Code ORANGE = Evacuation
