First Day of Placement Information

Welcome to SAMI – Royal Adelaide Hospital.  We look forward to hosting you on placement soon.

Your hours on your first day will be 8:30 to 17:00

On your first day, please report to Out Patient Medical Imaging (3C) at 8:30 hours, and ask for Carolyn or Di.

Please bring your Clinical Workbook (white folder), Passport-to-Placement, evidence of your FIT test mask size, Luxel and Side Markers.

In case of sick leave, please call 70744254 at least 30 minutes before your shift to notify staff, and please follow this up with an email to your Course Coordinator and Clinical Placement Coordinator Emma Liu (Emma.Liu@sa.gov.au).

If you are driving to placement, you will find parking at a multi-story car park located under the hospital. The entrance is from George Street for public access. Charges apply and can be substantial. There are no student discounts.

There are several multi story car parks south of the hospital on Hindley Street that are within

walking distance.

If being dropped off, go to the main entrance where the taxis also pick up and drop off.
