Students are reminded of the requirement to comply with the UniSA Uniform Policy while on clinical placement.
In addition, SA Health requires students and staff to comply with the Bare Below the Elbows policy. Students can wear long sleeves in transit, to keep warm in cold weather, but must remove long sleeved over-garments or pull up the sleeves when in clinical areas.
For students working in the Theatre Environment, head dress must be covered. Some sites will provide cloth covers, other will provide disposable covers. Please follow the Medical Radiation Technologist's lead and ensure your head dress is covered. Long sleeve Theatre Jackets may be provided at some SA Health sites as well.
