What to bring with you to Clinical Placement

 Please bring the following with you to placement:

·        Passport to Placement (blue covered folder supplied by UniSA)

·        White UniSA Clinical Placement Folder

·        UniSA Name Badge

·        Luxel Radiation Monitor (or equivalent)

.        Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccinations and Booster

.        Evidence of FIT tested Mask size

Staff Locker Room

-     A student locker is available for storing personal items while on placement. Students should leave the key in the locker overnight and take any belongings home at the end of each day.

-     A student pigeon hole is setup for workbooks to be stored during the day while on placement. 

Lunch Options

-     Students are welcome to use the fridge/toaster/sandwich press/microwave etc. located in nuclear medicine locker/stores room. Students can also use the kitchen facilities in the Medical Imaging staff room.

-     There is a WHSmith café located near the hospital main entrance. Above this is a staff only lounge which can be accessed using the Student ID card. There is outdoor seating available in surrounding courtyards.

-     Staff only cafeteria is located in basement and may be accessed by students using the student ID card. Daily hot meal options are available at lower prices than the public cafe.

-       Alternatively, there is Thai takeaway/Tango Café/Topshop Deli and a small IGA located across Haydown Road at the Elizabeth Vale Shopping centre (See highlighted area on map).
