Getting to the RAH by Bus
There are a number of bus stops located within a short walk of the new RAH. These include:
Port Road
Stop 1 on Port Road (south side), which is approximately 630 metres to the west of the
site. Buses servicing Stop 1 include 115, 117, 118, 150, 150B, 150P, 155, 157, 286, 286A,
287, 288, 288S, B10 and B12.
West Terrace
Stop X1 on West Terrace (west side) and Stop B1 West Terrace (east side), located
approximately 200 metres to the south of the site. Buses servicing Stop X1 include 115,
117, 118, B10 and B12. Buses servicing Stop B1 include 115, 117, 118, B10, B10C and
B12.
North Terrace
Stop B2 on North Terrace (north side) and Stop Y2 on North Terrace (south side), located
approximately 50 metres to the east of the site.
Buses servicing Stop B2 include 140, 144, 144G, 147, 150, 155, 157, 157X, 281, 281K,
286, 287 and 288. Buses servicing Stop Y2include 144, 150, 150B, 150P, 155, 157, 157X,
286, 286A, 287, 288, 288S and 613.
Stop X1 on North Terrace (south side) and Stop C1 on North Terrace (north side), about
200 metres to the east of the site. Buses servicing Stop X1 include 144, 150, 150B, 150P,
155, 157, 157X, 286, 286A, 287, 288, 288S and 613. Buses servicing Stop C1include 140,
144, 144G, 147, 150, 155, 157, 157X, 281, 281K, 286, 287 and 288.
Currie Street
Stop B1 on Currie Street (north side) and Stop Y2 on Currie Street H33C, INDA, J1, J1X, J3, M44, M44C, M44T, N30, X30, X30C and X30S. Buses servicing
Stop Y2 include 163, 167, 167C, 168, 616, H20, H20, H20R, H22, H22L, H30, H32, H33,
J1, J1A, J1H, J1X, J3, M44 and N30.
Stop C1 on Currie Street (north side), approximately 800 metres to the south of the site.
Buses servicing Stop C1 include 500, 501, 502, 502X, 503, 506, 507, 541, 541G, 541X,
542X, 543X, 544, 544X, 545, 545X, 546, 556, 557, 559S, 928, C1, C1G, C1T, C2X, M44,
M44C, M44T, N1, N502 and N541.
Getting to the RAH by Train
The new RAH is positioned approximately 900 metres west of the Adelaide Railway Station on North
Terrace.
Getting to the RAH by Tram
The Adelaide Metro tramline extends from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Port Road,
Hindmarsh, via the city centre, through to Glenelg.
A tram stop is conveniently located on North Terrace adjacent the main entrance, next to the
intersection of Port Road and West Terrace.
The new RAH is situated within the Free City Tram Zone that runs between the South Terrace tram stop and the Entertainment Centre. Travel within this zone is free.
Trams operate at a five to 10 minute frequency from Monday to Friday and a 10 to 15 minute frequency on Saturdays and Sundays.
