Radiography Student Education

Student education sessions are usually held on Friday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. The first hour is a Case Review Meeting. This meeting is where the students' work is reviewed and discussed. It is up to the students to add cases to the student folder in PACS.

Student Case Review Meeting

Good cases include

              • How I modified a radiographic technique in a patient with limited movement?
              • Where did I go wrong?
              • Was this the best technique to demonstrate this pathology?
              • I used a specific technique to demonstrate this pathology
              • I used a modified protocol for this clinical history
              • I would have done this differently in retrospect
              • This is a pathology I demonstrated
              • This is a projection I have not previously seen

Student Case Review Meeting

There will be a Powerpoint education session after the case review meeting.  Students can choose the topic or the topic may be generated from the case review meeting (e.g. if there were cases involving difficulty with lateral knees, we can look at knee radiography techniques).
