First Day of Placement Information

Welcome to SAMI – The Lyell McEwin Hospital.  We look forward to hosting you on placement soon.

Your Clinical Supervisor is Elyse Connole.

Our Department Telephone number is 08 8182 1408 

Your hours on your first day will be 8:45am to 5:00pm 

You will find our department on the Ground Floor, adjacent to Radiology. 

120 – 130 Haydown Road, Elizabeth Vale 5112. 

On your first day, please report to Nuclear Medicine Reception at 8:45am, and ask for Elyse or any of the Technologists.

Please bring your Clinical Workbook (white folder), Passport-to-Placement, evidence of your FIT test mask size and Luxel.

In case of sick leave, please call 8182 1408 after 8:00am to notify staff, as well as email your Course Coordinator and Clinical Placement Coordinator Emma Liu (Emma.Liu@sa.gov.au).

If you are driving to placement, there is limited all day street parking on Coglin Road, Mark Road and Mofflin Road. Follow local traffic signs closely as many streets are time-limited or resident only parking. Staff can discuss parking options further with you on your first day.

If being dropped off, you can enter from the main entrance on Oldham Road or Mark Road.
