Will I be assessed on clinical placement at PPRHS?

All students are assessed when they are on clinical placement. Students need to meet the minimum performance standards, and minimum competencies for each clinical placement.

Will I have a formative and/or summative assessment?

Depending on the length of placement depends on what assessments are completed. A summative assessment is always performed at the end of the clinical placement block and if a formative report is needed then this will be completed accordingly. You can ask radiographers for feedback on your performance at any time during a clinical placement.

Can I fail a Clinical Placement?

Yes, if requirements of a clinical placement are not met then you will be deemed to have failed that clinical placement.
