Pick Up/Drop Off
Ten minute ‘Patient Loading Areas’ are located at both the main Kermode Street and Queen Victoria Building entrances for pick up and drop off. There are also one- and two-hour parking spaces located in the streets around the Hospital.
Car Parking
Street parking around the WCH is notoriously difficult. Parking inspectors monitor daily and fines are hefty.
All day parking is not available around the WCH. Allow yourself plenty of walking time if you intend to find unrestricted street parking in North Adelaide.
The WCH has two public car parks:
• Kermode Street Car Park (opposite the Children's hospital main entrance)
• Basement Car Park (entered from Brougham Place via the Emergency Department roadway).
Both car parks are open from 6am to 11.15pm weekdays and from 6am to 9pm on weekends.
Parking is in high demand and these carparks fill up quickly, please allow ample time if you wish to utilise these facilities.

Adelaide Oval Parking
Parking may be available at the Adelaide oval carpark if the WCH car parks are full.
Please be aware - if there is an event on at Adelaide Oval, all car parks become a 2 hour zone.
