339                  TUBERCULOUS COLITIS IN AN INFANT

The specimen consists of 12 cms of the large bowel.  Scattered hyperplastic nodular tuberculous areas are present with a general tendency towards elongation across the bowel.  Most of them show ragged superficial necrosis and ulceration.
