15676              DERMOID CYST OF THE OVARY

The patient was a woman aged 28 who complained of dyspareunia. The left ovary was removed at laparotomy.

The specimen consists of the left ovary which has been replaced by a unilocular cyst measuring 8 x 5 x 5 cms containing tangled masses of dark hair mixed with cheesy sebaceous material.
