18118              FAECOLITH IN THE APPENDIX

The specimen is from a lad aged 18 who was killed when his motor cycle collided with a car and he was run over by a truck after falling to the road.  The appendix measures 6 cms in length and has a pale firm wall.  It contains a spheroidal faecolith measuring 2 cms in length.
