476                  LARGE CALCULI IN THE URETER AND BLADDER

The specimen consists of the bladder which contains a very large spinous oxalate calculus measuring 6 x 6 x 5 cms which totally fills the lumen. The lower end of the ureter is dilated to a width of 2.5 cms and contains a smooth cylindrical calculus with rounded ends. It measures 4 cms in length and 2 cms in width.
