50457/82 HODGKIN'S DISEASE INFILTRATING APLASTIC VERTEBRAL BONE MARROW
The tumour deposits within the bone marrow are irregular, pink and white areas. The remainder of the bone marrow is pale and totally lacking in haemopoietic elements. The absence of red marrow is the result of previous chemotherapeutic treatment. Only fatty tissue remains in the medullary cavity.
